Consumer Credit offers the following services housing services, bankruptcy, student loans, credit counseling, reverse mortgage counseling and debt management plans. The agency offers budget counseling for free but charges $39 for registration for the debt management program. The agency is committed to helping individuals and families regardless of their ability to pay. The fee for registration may be waived or reduced but this depends on your financial hardships or state’s regulations. Counseling services can be either face to face or via telephone. Consumer Credit has a great website and has an easy to use online chat feature to answer questions from clients. You will also find press releases that keep customers informed about the latest activities of the agency.
HOW TO LOGIN
Step 1 – Click here to open the site in a new tab and then click “CLIENT LOGIN” which is located on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 2 – Click “Existing Client”
Step 3 – Enter your username and password associated with your online account and then click “Submit”.
You should have logged in to your Consumer Credit online account if your details were entered correctly. Note that you can also pre-bankruptcy or post-bankruptcy when logging in to your online account.
HOW TO RESET/FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
Step 1 – Click “Forgot user name” if you have forgotten the username of your Consumer Credit online account.
Step 2 – Enter your client number and your email address and then click the “Submit” button.
You should receive an email containing your username once you click “Submit”. Note that you also receive your username by entering your client account number and the last four digits of your social security number and then click “Submit”.
FORGOT PASSWORD
Step 1 – Click “Forgot Password” if you cannot remember the current password of your account.
Step 2 – Enter your username and email address you provided during registration and then click “Submit”.
An email with a password reset link will be sent to you after a short while once you click “Submit”. Note that you can also receive the password reset link by entering your client number and the last four digits of your social security number and then click the “Submit” button.
HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL
Step 1 – Click “Debt management” located on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 2 – Press on the “Click here to get started” button.
You will need to fill out the form on the next page you will be redirected in order to proceed in making payment.
